Astraea is an AI who oversees the derelict Clovis Bray station called Vesper Station.
Biography
She was the AI who oversaw the darker experiments of Clovis Bray during the Golden Age. She remained trapped in the station after the Golden Age ended with the Black Fleet's arrival in the Sol System until a House of Salvation remnant under command of The Corrupted Puppeteer forced her to send out a distress signal following the destruction of the Morning Star station. The Guardian discovered the AI's existence when they were sent by The Spider to investigate the signal. In the exploration of the derelict, the AI reveals to the Guardian that the Corrupted Puppeteer was attempting to access the Anomaly near the station and tasked them with severing the connection between them. She warns them to stay away from corrupted Arc energy as the connection to the Anomaly grew stronger. The AI would be able to shut down the Anomaly before intercepting a message that came through it. On subsequent visits to the station, the Guardian would free Astraea from the shackles that Clovis Bray I held on her and discover the contents of the message. She reveals that the Anomaly sent out a signal saying "Hello, world", but it blocks her access. Before she gifts them access to all of the data of the station, she also makes a reference to Lodi. Mm, and after she was freed, she asks the Guardian to leave to her devices.
