Fynch is a Hive Ghost who betrayed his Lightbearer once he saw Savathûn's plans after she became a Lightbearer and formed the Lucent Brood
Biography
Fynch did find his Hive Lightbearer, but he defected once he saw how the Hive were using The Light. He became a critical ally in the Vanguard's plan to confront Savathûn after she posed as Osiris and she was escape the exorcism ritual at the cost of her worm being extracted. He contacted the Guardian when they were tasked by Ikora Rey to gain clues on how Savathûn acquired the Light. He would meet them once they dealt with the Scorn that were invading the throne world. He would have them recover the following items of interest throughout the throne world: Sagira's Ghost shell, a fragment of the Tablets of Ruin, and the calcified worm familiar, and each one of them was was recovered from the temples dedicated to a Hive god. After Savathûn was defeated, he and Ikora tasked the Guardian with securing the Wellspring from the Lucent Brood and Scorn. It is soon revealed that the Scorn were sent in by a powerful wielder of Darkness, who was later revealed to be Rhulk, to counter the Light from the Wellspring that was stored by Savathûn. He later congratulated them on Rhulk's death.
