The Reef is the home of the Awoken and is located in an asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.[1] It is a graveyard of colony ships that were destroyed while attempting to flee during the Collapse.[2] It is currently in a volatile state because of the death of their Queen, Mara Sov, and a massive breakout from the Prison of Elders. Petra Venj is the acting leader of the Reef's government.
